Neighbours aren't too keen on them, especially if they block out the light through their windows, so keeping them regularly maintained is a good idea. Crown Lifting - cutting the lower branches of the tree
By removing the lower branches of the tree, this provides access to cut the grass without getting tangled or harmed by branches sticking out. It also provides a shaded area to sit in in the summer. Cutting the lower branches may also help prevent children from climbing trees, so from a safety aspect avoiding accidents is important.
There are various reasons why people would like their trees removing. We deal with storm damage, where the trees are falling or have fallen onto buildings, fences etc. We remove diseased trees and either prune or remove trees which have overgrown or are blocking the light from entering the windows. Generally the tree/s are removed to a small stump. If you wish to have the stump removed we provide a stump grinding service were the stumps are ground down to ground level.

We trim hedgerows of all types. Trimming/pruning hedges looks straight forward but it is often not as easy as it may look. We can shape hedges and they can be removed, if necessary. Hedges need trimming at least twice a year.
